Actually Means

The difference between a good day on the water and a forgettable one comes down to a few consistent things — crew, route, food, and pace.

Core Advantages

What Navire Offers

Route Expertise

Routes selected by a captain with 18+ years on the Andaman coast — not by a brochure.

Meals Onboard

Breakfast and lunch cooked fresh onboard from locally sourced ingredients.

Marina Departure

Full-facility marina start — no beach launches, no wet feet before the sail begins.

All-Age Pace

Schedules built around comfort, not arrival times. Suitable for families and first-time sailors.

Off-Route Access

Northern Andaman stops that larger tour groups and speedboats simply cannot reach.

In Depth

Each Benefit Explained

Professional Expertise

Captain Kraisorn Petcharat has spent nearly two decades navigating the Andaman coast. His knowledge of seasonal currents, sheltered anchorages, and the specific character of each island group is the foundation that every Navire charter is built on. You are not following a fixed GPS route — you are sailing with someone who has read these waters across hundreds of trips.

  • Licensed captain with Thai Marine Department certification
  • 18+ years of Andaman sailing experience
  • First-hand knowledge of northern Andaman anchorages

Process & Organisation

Every charter follows a prepared sequence — vessel inspection, weather check, provisions loaded, safety briefing given. Nothing is improvised on the morning. Guests arrive to a ready vessel and a crew that has already spent the early hours preparing for their day. The result is a departure that feels calm rather than chaotic.

  • Pre-departure checklist completed each morning
  • Provisions loaded and meals prepped before boarding
  • Guest briefing covers safety and the day's route

Navigation & Technology

Vessels are equipped with modern chart plotters, VHF radio, GPS, and AIS transponders. The crew monitors weather data from multiple sources before and during the charter. Communication with the marina and coastguard is maintained throughout the voyage, particularly on multi-day passages.

  • Chart plotter and GPS on all vessels
  • VHF radio and AIS transponder fitted
  • Ongoing weather monitoring during passage

Guest Service

The crew's role is to keep the day relaxed and the guests comfortable. Meals are served at the right moment. Snorkeling equipment is fitted and explained. The pace of the itinerary adjusts to how people are feeling. There is no pressure to stick rigidly to a schedule when the conditions or the group's mood suggests something different.

  • Attentive service without being intrusive
  • Equipment explained and fitted by crew
  • Flexible pacing based on group comfort

Results & Outcomes

Guests return from Navire charters having spent time in places most visitors to Phuket never see. The enclosed lagoons of the Hong Islands, the limestone passages of Phang Nga Bay, the remote northern coastline — these are not experiences that are easily repeated on a tour bus or from a hotel pool. That is the outcome Navire is built around.

  • Access to locations beyond standard tourist routes
  • Consistent positive feedback from returning guests
  • Multi-day itineraries available for deeper exploration

Value & Transparency

Charter prices include the vessel, crew, fuel, meals as described, and snorkeling equipment where applicable. There are no surprise charges at the end of the day for items that were presented as included. Optional additions — extended kayak hire, scuba instruction — are quoted separately and clearly before departure.

  • All-inclusive pricing per programme
  • Optional extras quoted in advance
  • No hidden or day-end charges

What Makes Us Different

Unique to Navire

The Northern Andaman Passage

A multi-day itinerary to Koh Surin, Koh Phra Thong, and remote northern coastline that no day-charter operator in Phuket currently offers as a fixed programme. The route is designed, planned, and run by our captain from first-hand knowledge.

Onboard Chef

Having a dedicated chef onboard is not standard for vessels of this scale in the Phuket charter market. Somsak sources and prepares food for each trip, meaning guests eat the same quality meal at sea that they would expect at a good shore-side restaurant.

Ao Po Marina Location

Most Phuket charters depart from the west coast marinas near Patong or Chalong, which means spending more time under engine before reaching the islands. Departing from Ao Po places guests in open Phang Nga Bay waters within minutes of casting off.

Marine Environment Commitment

Navire avoids anchoring over reef areas, briefs guests on reef-safe practices before water entry, and manages all waste back at the marina. This is not a marketing claim — it is a standard the crew enforces on every trip.
